Advantages
Paying for the rising costs of a college education is a concern for nearly every student and family. To help you meet your educational expenses, The University of Nebraska at Lincoln is pleased to offer Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) as a convenient budget plan. This is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges, and there is no credit check. Enrollment in this plan is easy and available online.
Payment Methods
- Automatic Bank Payments (ACH)
ACH payments are payments you have authorized NBS to process on behalf of your university. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds you have pre-approved for your expenses at UNL. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. - Automatic Credit Card/Debit Card Payment
If you elect to use this payment method, your monthly payment, along with a convenience fee, will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate. The convenience fee is in addition to the enrollment fee.
Scheduled payments are processed on the 5th of the month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.
Down payments and the enrollment fee are deducted immediately.

The maximum amount you may budget per semester is $7000. You may budget tuition, fees, books, room and board. To estimate how much to budget go to http://admissions.unl.edu/cost/.
Note: All down payments are processed immediately! If you are not current on your payments with Nelnet Business Solutions by August 10 for the fall and January 10th for the spring, you will be dropped from the payment plan.
You can view your agreement online by using MYFACTS Account. To access MYFACTS Account, follow the instructions on the confirmation notification you will receive after enrolling on e-Cashier.
